MEET THE FOUNDER
DR. TIMOTHY FARRELL

Dr. Timothy Farrell DC has been providing Subluxation based chiropractic care to thousands of Vermonters from newborns to seniors since 1997. He focuses on detecting and correcting Vertebral Subluxations (interferences to the nervous system in the spinal column) so he can find the root cause of your health problem. The brain sends messages down the spinal cord and throughout the entire body through nerve pathways. If there is any interference, or subluxations (misalignments of the vertebral bones), the messages can't get through properly. This is similar to a clogged drain, a kink in the garden hose, or a blown electrical circuit. Subluxations can start as early as the birth process, hence why Dr. Farrell encourages parents to have their newborns/children checked as early as possible. It's never too early or too late to get your spine checked!

“Crystal was diagnosed with ADD at age 9, she also complained of back and neck pain for many years.

Crystal's ability to concentrate increased in school. Her grades improved dramatically and the teacher's comments indicated that her ability to stay on task and focus was also enhanced.

Crystal also has less pain
and slept better, waking up more refreshed and rested.”

Dr. Farrell's training and expertise includes state of the art computer diagnostics, x-ray analysis, spinal trauma analysis and care, and
pediatric care.

Many of his practice members are outdoor enthusiasts like himself and enjoy the benefits of Chiropractic care to keep them skiing/snowboarding, boating, golfing, and hiking to name just a few activities.

Dr. Farrell is a Vermont State Representative for the International Chiropractic Association. He also conducts biannual "food for adjustments" Food Drives to support the local food shelf and community wellness. He also holds Kids' Days events raising awareness about the importance of preventative spinal care and allowing parents to have their children's spines checked, raising awareness about the importance of preventative spinal care.

Dr. Farrell lives in Bolton Valley with his wife Wendy. His three children Vivien, Ellis and Zion were fortunate to experience the benefits of regular adjustments since birth. Dr. Farrell is very thankful he chose the profession to be able to provide safe, natural, and proactive healthcare.

MEET DR. ELIZABETH HORNE

Dr. Horne started as a patient of Dr. Farrell’s when she initially sought care for back pain. She soon discovered the many health benefits that were the “side effects” from her adjustments. She then pursued becoming a chiropractic assistant at Farrell Chiropractic. After working in the office she made the decision to relocate to Atlanta, GA to go to school to become a chiropractor. She is thrilled to be back at home in Vermont serving her community!

“I had ear and neck problems, numbness and tingling in both hands and arms, some middle back problems as well.

My ear and neck problems have almost all disappeared. Hands, arms are about 95% gone as well, much better on all counts.

Dr. Horne is a graduate from Life University with a focus on prenatal care and pediatric wellness. In 2020 she earned her Certification by the Academy Council of Chiropractic Pediatrics (CACCP) from the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA), which is the recognition of advanced levels of training and expertise beyond what is offered in chiropractic college. This certification enables Dr. Horne to expand her range of care to individuals throughout pregnancy and childhood with excellence in accordance with evidence-informed practice. Additionally, she is certified in the Webster technique – a technique developed for optimal pelvic alignment in pregnancy, which can reduce common discomforts associated with pregnancy. She is passionate about supporting families of all kinds on their wellness journeys by providing gentle and effective chiropractic care.

Dr. Horne is driven by the concept of salutogenesis: focusing on the creation of health and vitality rather than the elimination of pathology or disease. Her previous experience with Healing Touch and Energy Medicine combined with her vitalistic approach to healthcare give her a unique perspective on patient care. She believes that every person has the potential to thrive. With each practice member, her goal is to empower them to reach their full health potential.
